You can subscribe to everything, articles and status updates, via RSS, JSON, Mastodon, or Micro.blog.
Alternatively, you can subscribe to articles only via RSS or JSON.
N.B. For my own reading needs, my preferred RSS service is Feedbin plugged into the Mac and iOS app: Reeder.
